MANHEIM, PA--(Marketwired - Feb 5, 2014) - Industrial hoist manufacturer excellence was recently honored in a ceremony held at the Harrington Hoists, Inc. headquarters in Manheim, Pennsylvania; Allyn Mark, host of Industry Visions Industrial News, presented the 2013 American Industrial Innovation Award to Harrington's COO, Carlo Lonardi who received it on behalf of Harrington Hoists, Inc. and their parent company KITO CORPORATION. The award was presented for Harrington's contributions to industrial innovation in lifting solutions and for production expansion at their Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania facility which resulted in the creation of more American jobs.
Harrington's new 100,000 square foot Elizabethtown facility known as E-Town is dedicated to the repatriation of manufacturing for products made in the U.S.A., replacing work that was previously done in Japan. Expanding the Harrington footprint with this new facility has created a boom for new American jobs and opportunities for local vendors.
