As the company continues its rapid innovation and growth, Henriksen's nearly 10 years of executive management experience in healthcare information technology will make a strong impact on NexTech's long-term strategic goals. Henriksen assumes responsibility from the company's founder Kamal Majeed, PhD, who has led NexTech as CEO for the past 17 years. Dr. Majeed will serve on the NexTech board of directors.

Additionally, Henriksen spent ten years with General Electric, including general management roles with both the outpatient and acute care software divisions of GE Healthcare.
