Durham veterinarian Dr. Jennifer Bailey has joined the New Hope Animal Hospital veterinary care team.
"We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Bailey to our veterinary team," said veterinarian Dr. Soren Windram, who has been with New Hope Animal Hospital since 2003. "Dr. Bailey shares our team's commitment to preventative wellness care and high quality patient services. She is a natural fit for our veterinary practice and a valuable addition to the team."
A 2008 graduate of NC State University, Dr. Bailey says she is excited to join the Durham animal hospital and expand its preventative care program.
"Preventative care is the foundation for disease prevention in pets and essential to helping all animals live long, healthy lives," said Dr. Bailey. "From vaccinations to routine checkups, I am excited to join New Hope Animal Hospital in its mission to keeping pets healthy and active throughout their lives. Quality veterinary care really does make a difference."
New Hope Animal Hospital provides routine pet wellness services, including vaccinations, spay and neuter pet surgery, animal dentistry and nutrition counseling. The veterinary hospital also offers emergency veterinary services, dog and cat boarding, and pet grooming. The vet hospital team stresses "client collaboration" and believes that the best way to support a pet's long-term health is through pet owner education.
"Pet owners want the best for their pets, but are not always sure about choosing the right food, getting a pet spayed or neutered, or other basic wellness care," said Dr. Bailey. "One of the most rewarding parts of my job is being able to educate pet owners about the basics of pet care and answer their questions. The relationships that I build with pet owners are long-term partnerships, and I look forward to getting to know each and every pet owner at New Hope Animal Hospital."
The Durham veterinarian and her husband are parents to a beautiful girl, two dogs ("Sam" and "Wanda") and two cats ("Fletcher" and "Truman").
"Animals have always been a big part of my life," said Dr. Bailey. "As a veterinarian, I treat all the pets I care for as if they are members of my own family. The veterinary care team at New Hope Animal Hospital does the same. I am excited to be part of a veterinary team that is as passionate about quality pet care and customer service as I am."
