ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - Mar 18, 2014) - Equifax Workforce Solutions, a leader in human resource, analytics and verification services, today announced it has expanded its presence in St. Louis with the acquisition of a 99,000 square foot office building on Rider Trail in Earth City. The new facility was established to provide employees with a state-of-the-art work environment that is more conducive to innovation and will better accommodate the company's current and anticipated growth and service to clients.
Equifax has been moving employees to the Rider Trail facility since January and will officially open the building on April 24, when the last group of employees has been relocated. U.S. Congresswoman Ann Wagner will lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will include Equifax leadership and local dignitaries.
"With the opening of its new facility, Equifax solidifies its status as a leading St. Louis employer that continues to grow its employee base and make a positive impact on the entire region," said Congresswoman Wagner. "The company's decision to expand its presence in the region adds to the growth in financial services that we've seen throughout the area."
The expansion to the new office location is part of a larger Equifax initiative, known as Score 850, a global initiative that has resulted in improved facilities across the company. With the company striving to become a premier workplace of choice, the Score 850 program aims to ensure that Equifax office environments reflect its brand as an innovative and forward-looking company. With flexible and open workspaces that provide access to advanced technology, Equifax can ensure employees are able to operate in more strategic and creative ways.
"There is a direct correlation between a work environment and the way in which employees perform. As technology and the workforce are both characterized by rapid change, it is our mission to better align our own facilities with our culture and how productively our employees work," said Dann Adams, president of Equifax Workforce Solutions. "Through the Score 850 initiative, we can ensure maximum use of our technology and resources, helping our employees and clients achieve the best results possible through a more collaborative environment."
St. Louis represents the second-largest employee location in the Equifax portfolio, accounting for more than 1,200 full-time employees and contractors in the area. In addition to the new office, Equifax currently owns or leases two other facilities located in the Westport area of St. Louis. With the addition of the Rider Trail location, as well as ongoing remodeling efforts at its existing offices, Equifax has increased its footprint in St. Louis by 18 percent, in terms of square footage.
"Our new Rider Trail facility provides a state-of-the-art work environment that will allow Equifax employees to better communicate with each other, their managers and their clients and provide the industry-leading service for which we are known," said Susan Lenzen, manager of Real Estate & Facilities for Equifax Workforce Solutions. "We are pleased to offer such a dynamic workplace that will ensure our continued growth and momentum, while fostering new ideas and innovation."
