ACSESS is SDSU's outreach to industry program whose goal is to foster collaboration between academia and industry by bringing "real world" problems to PhD and MS students in the Computational Science and Engineering (CS&E) discipline.
CS&E is a growing field in which computational models are used to understand complex systems that manage massive amounts of data.
The 2014 event will be held at the San Diego State University's Parma Payne Goodall Alumni Center on Friday, March 28, 2014 beginning at 12:00 P.M.
Matze will deliver his keynote titled: "How Big Data is Impacting Business" at 1:20 P.M. The address will focus on harnessing massive amounts of Cloud storage to the benefit of the business enterprise.
