Due to changes in the OMnet API (CQ128) it is mandatory to upgrade the NASDAQ OMX front-ends Clearing Workstation 1 & 2 the weekend June 7th – 8th, 2014.
CQ128 (Account Query) is modified due to the Automatic Take Up/Give Up functionality introduced in Genium INET 4.0220. CQ128 is an OMnet message that is used by CW1 & 2 when logging into Genium INET to load data to the Clearing Workstation GUI. If CW1 & 2 is not upgraded to Genium INET 4.0220, they will not be able to load account information.
The first release of Clearing Workstation 1, 4.0220, will be available for download April 14th and the go-live candidate of Clearing Workstation 1 will be released May 9th.
Clearing Workstation 2 will be automatically upgraded June 7-9th when starting Clearing Workstation 2 from the Clearing Workstation 2 URL. Clearing Workstation 1 & 2 can be tested in External Test System 4 as of April 17th.
The change in CQ128 is mandatory for 3rd party developers who utilize CQ128.
