Ecology and Environment, Inc. Completes Purchase of Walsh Environmental Scientists and Engineers, LLC

LANCASTER, NY--(Marketwired - Apr 2, 2014) - Ecology and Environment, Inc. (E & E) (NASDAQ: EEI) recently completed the purchase of all outstanding shares of Walsh Environmental Scientists and Engineers, LLC (Walsh), making it a wholly owned subsidiary. Walsh in turn owns controlling interest in four other companies: two in the inter-mountain West and two in South America.

The Walsh group has delivered average per year consolidated sales of $38,890,400 over the last five years and an average income per year of $1,505,621.

Walsh's two domestic subsidiaries are Gustavson Associates, LLC, a mining, oil, and gas consulting company in Boulder, Colorado, and Lowham-Walsh Engineering & Environmental Services, LLC, a water resources firm in Lander, Wyoming.
The two foreign subsidiaries are Walsh Peru and Servicios Ambientales Walsh S.A. (Walsh Ecuador); both firms are well positioned and staffed to provide the full range of environmental services to local markets as well as multi-national developers.
