Jeitosa Group International Opens Next Phase of Global Payroll Benchmarking Study

Company Welcomes New Participants to Multi-Year Study of Multinational Organizations, Expands Data Collection to Include Additional Countries and Metrics

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 23, 2014) -  Jeitosa Group International, a leading global HR business consultancy and systems deployment and integration firm, announced today the details of the new phase in its global payroll benchmarking study. With clear evidence that globalization is continuing and, in fact, accelerating, today's business leaders are expected to "do-more-with-less," making key decisions while balancing inconsistent, and oftentimes, contrary forces. Focused on uncovering the leading practices in global payroll management, this next phase of the research effort is increasing to cover 50 operational payroll metrics across 20 countries.

The global payroll benchmarking study presents an objective analysis of the global payroll landscape, describing the specific strategies utilized by top-performing global organizations to help reconcile the conflicting forces and achieve enhanced efficiency and innovation. Phase 2 of the study is expanding the current country-level data collection to comprise benchmarks for the following 20 countries: Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. Jeitosa is planning to complete this phase and deliver final analysis by the end of the year.

"Our ongoing research shows that many top-performing organizations have learned to use globalization to their advantage, developing a new approach to payroll strategy to support their efforts," said Karen Beaman, CEO and Global Strategic Advisor of Jeitosa Group International. "As the markets continue to evolve and more organizations look to expand internationally, Jeitosa remains committed to uncovering and understanding the leading practices for managing global payroll that are so essential to success. To accomplish this, it is only natural that we expand the program; not just in terms of welcoming new participants, but also to extend our study to additional markets around the globe."

Jeitosa recently published findings from Phase 1 in the report, "Driving Globally Strategic Payroll: The Paradoxical Journey to Efficiency and Innovation," which indicates that top-performing organizations (based on revenue, income and employee headcount growth) rely on select practices to effectively manage their global payroll and achieve greater efficiency and enhanced innovation. These practices typically include system rationalization to consolidate the number of systems and vendors used for payroll and business needs paired with a global service delivery model and global strategic and process-oriented mindset.
