Gartner Positions Informatica as a Leader in 2014 Enterprise Integration Platform-as-a-Service Magic Quadrant
On January 27, 2014, Gartner positioned Informatica as a leader in the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) report, based on ability to execute and completeness of vision. Gartner analysts wrote that "the iPaaS market is poised to dramatically grow over the next five years due to several factors," and Gartner goes on to state, "We expect the iPaaS segment to grow faster than the PaaS market average, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of almost 30% between 2012 and 2017." Bloor Research Survey Finds Informatica Data Integration Products Receive High Marks for Suitability, Productivity and Total Cost of Ownership
In March 2014, Bloor Research delivered survey results concluding that companies using data integration tools ranked Informatica products highly in the following categories: measuring suitability for a variety of uses, productivity and reusability and total cost of ownership (TCO). Survey responses indicated that "Informatica is the most suitable product overall." Further, the report noted, "Informatica is deemed to have the broadest range of applicability, and is among the top three in all project categories."
