DHL Global Forwarding Appoints Renata Mihich as New Managing Director, Canada

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 21, 2014) - DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight specialist within Deutsche Post DHL, today announced the appointment of Renata Mihich as the new managing director of DHL Global Forwarding, Canada. Effective April, 2, 2014, Mihich is responsible for leading the entire team of DHL's Global Freight and Forwarding business in Canada according to the company's overall strategy. Based in Toronto, she reports directly to Mathieu Floreani, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, Americas.

A DHL Global Forwarding veteran of more than 17 years, Mihich has spent the majority of her 19 year career in the logistics industry with the company. Her tenure includes a nine year period where she held the position of DHL Global Forwarding Brazil Sales and Marketing Director, managing the company's 2011 Best Sales Team in the Americas and second best sales team globally that same year.

Responsible for a staff of 350 people, Mihich will manage the operations and P&L growth of all six Canadian DHL Global Forwarding branch operations, steering the overall development of country sales teams. She will also direct transactional and customer service related activities for Canada, as well as leading global business and IT improvement initiatives. Her leadership will steer the DHL Global Forwarding Canada group successfully towards executing group strategy and achieving expected results.
