A report from Ambient Insight shows that the U.S. corporate market for self-paced, eLearning products and services will reach $7.1 billion by 2015, with the growth rate in the healthcare vertical at a rapid 45.1 percent.
Scitent has expanded its Operations, Marketing, and IT departments over the past twelve months to meet growing demand. Specifically, the IT department grew 30 percent, with additional developers trained on Ruby on Rails, a powerful web framework for SCIDEA, Scitent's learning management system, and database experts to extend the company's eLearning products and capabilities.
Joining Scitent to head up Operations, Linda Coogle, Scitent's new COO, is responsible for operational initiatives to support ongoing sales growth and working closely with Deb McMahon, Scitent's CEO, to support the company's strategic direction. Formerly President and COO of Clinical Care Options, LLC, Ms. Coogle has more than 15 years as a medical education leader, delivering innovative products and maximizing profits in the healthcare communications, digital publishing, and education industries.
Caroline March-Long has joined Scitent as its Senior Marketing Manager, heading up a growing Marketing department, which helps Scitent's clients market their online learning content through various distribution channels.
