BOULDER, CO--(Marketwired - Jun 3, 2014) - Orbotix, the world's leading connected toy maker, today announces that Sphero 2.0 -- the robot ball and game system -- is now available for Windows Phone 8 smartphones and Windows 8-powered devices. As part of their collaboration, Sphero will also roll into Microsoft's U.S. retail stores this summer.
The main Sphero app will work on all devices running Windows 8.0/8.1, including tablets, smartphones, laptops, and desktops, and can be downloaded from the Microsoft Windows and Windows Phone Stores. Sphero 2.0 is the only connected toy that works on the big three mobile operating systems: Windows, iOS, and Android.
