MORRISTOWN, N.J., July 1, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Effective July 1, 2014, Andrew V. Bailey II will assume leadership for Louis Berger's Services operation as the new president.

Bailey formerly served as the group vice president of Global Operations, which transitioned into Services on June 28 in an effort to consolidate the operations and maintenance platform. The Services operating company operates in five key areas—aircraft services, logistics services, fueling and facilities services, global operations and power.
Bailey's new role comes at a critical time in Louis Berger's restructuring and global integration efforts to provide greater management focus and improved collaboration across the operating companies.
Bailey has led teams in politically complex and challenging environments, including a USAID program in South Sudan and the U.S. Air Force Contract Augmentation Program with task orders worldwide. He has more than 30 years of infrastructure development, implementation and sustainment experience. In 25 years with the Virginia Department of Transportation, Bailey rose to its highest career level position, deputy commissioner. In this role he was responsible for highway design, construction, maintenance and operations for the third largest state transportation system in the United States.
Bailey holds a bachelor's degree in Urban Affairs from Virginia Polytechnic and State University and a master's of business administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
