MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Jul 22, 2014) - Aconex, provider of the #1 cloud solution to manage the world's largest construction and engineering projects, today announced the election of Adam Lewis as chairman of the board. Mr. Lewis has served on the Aconex board of directors since 2011. He succeeds Simon Yencken, another long-time board member who became chairman in 2011 and will remain a director.
The company also announced the election of Keith Geeslin, a partner at Francisco Partners, as a director. He replaces Petri Oksanen, a partner at Francisco Partners who had served on the Aconex board since 2012.
The other Aconex directors are: Leigh Jasper, co-founder and CEO; Rob Phillpot, co-founder and senior vice president of product; Keith Toh, founder of HeyThat Project and a former principal at Francisco Partners; and Paul Unruh, a former vice-chairman at Bechtel Corporation.

Mr. Lewis spent 20 years at McKinsey & Company, advising major enterprises and governments in Australia and New Zealand, Asia, Europe, and North America. A partner at the firm for 14 years, he had a wide-ranging client portfolio across the steel, mining, chemicals, retail, telecommunications, and retail banking industries. He was managing partner of McKinsey in Australia and New Zealand and a member of the firm's Asia Council and global director-election committees.
Since leaving McKinsey in 2010, Mr. Lewis has established two successful advisory firms, Chop Wood Carry Water and Cast Professional Services. He serves on the advisory council of FIIG Securities and the public policy committee of the Grattan Institute, and is chairman of Southern Innovation and an advisor to a number of other start-up companies.
Mr. Geeslin joined Francisco Partners in 2004. He had been at Sprout Group, the venture capital arm of Credit Suisse's asset management business, since 1984 and served as a general partner since 1988. Previously, he was general manager of a division of Tymshare (TYM) and held various positions at its Tymnet subsidiary from 1980 to 1984. Earlier, he had been a staff member of the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee. Mr. Geeslin currently serves on the boards of CommVault Systems (CVLT), Synaptics (SYNA), Source Photonics, and Cross Match Technologies.
