University of Cincinnati Selects PrivIT e-PPE to Streamline Sport Participation

COLUMBUS, OH--(Marketwired - July 23, 2014) - NovaCare, the official sports medicine provider for the University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics, announced it will use PrivIT e-PPE to improve the pre-participation evaluation (PPE) process for Bearcats student-athletes entering the 2014-15 season. PrivIT e-PPE provides an online comprehensive questionnaire designed to collect a more thorough medical history for an athlete. After the athlete completes the questionnaire, PrivIT e-PPE generates a medical history summary to assist medical professionals during the screening process and physical evaluations. The medical history summary assists in a more focused physical exam by calling attention to health risks that are relevant to the athlete and filters out any negative responses.

University of Cincinnati is looking forward to moving the medical history portion of the PPE process online and to reducing the amount of paperwork shuffled between athletes and the athletic department. In addition, PrivIT e-PPE provides a more detailed health history.
