AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwired - Sep 4, 2014) - Apogee, higher education's largest residential network (ResNet) provider, today announced the appointment of Mike Jones as the company's vice president of video solutions. Jones leads strategy, sales, marketing and operations for Apogee's video division. He also oversees all programming, including IPTV, and leads a team of higher ed specialists to deliver video content and services to Apogee's nationwide footprint of college and university clients.
With two decades of multimedia content and delivery expertise under his belt, Jones will ensure that Apogee continues to lead the revolution in shaping and strengthening the delivery of content through multiple platforms and applications.

Jones began his career with 12 years at the Walt Disney Company in both Dallas and Los Angeles, working inside ESPN and ABC in affiliate relations and multimedia sales.
