The annual city-wide food drive is back again this year, and looking to reclaim the record for most food collected in a 24-hour period, a record that owned by the Calgary Food Bank in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2008. The goal is to collect 560,000 pounds of food! Watch Calgary come together as a city and rise to the challenge. Look for their bags and flyers on your doorstep!

The Cliff Bungalow - Mission Community is hosting this daylong event to bring together family, friends, and the community to celebrate harvest and heritage while enjoying music, food, and other fun activities. The event is inspired by the belief that when people join together they can have a major part in helping the development of different sorts of projects and ventures. The "Fresh From the Heart" project at the Calgary Food Bank will be accepting fresh produce donations and canned goods to support Calgarians in need.
