Foundation Source Hires Joshua Stamer as Managing Director

FAIRFIELD, Conn., Sept. 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Foundation Source, the nation's largest provider of comprehensive services for private foundations, today announced the appointment of Joshua Stamer as a Managing Director for its national business development team. Based outside of Los Angeles, CA, Mr. Stamer will focus his efforts on the southern half of California, utilizing his strong background in financial and client services.

In his role as Managing Director, Mr. Stamer will expand Foundation Source's presence in the Southern California market, working with wealth managers, financial advisors, attorneys, and donors who either have or are interested in establishing a private foundation. Mr. Stamer reports to President Salvatore A. Bucci.

According to Mr. Bucci, "Josh has a proven track record for business development success in the financial services industry. He will make a strong addition to the Foundation Source team, serving philanthropically minded individuals and their advisors throughout the Southern California market."

Prior to Foundation Source, Mr. Stamer was the Western Regional Sales Director with Workiva, formerly WebFilings. There, Josh successfully on-boarded and developed client partnerships with some of the nation's largest banks, insurance companies, and mutual and hedge fund organizations. He helped lead the company's entry into the financial services market on the West Coast, providing expertise in compliance, risk management, regulation, and business development. Earlier in his career, he was Strategic Sales Manager at Maxwell Systems, Inc., the largest privately held construction software company in North America. Mr. Stamer has also held executive business development roles at DHL USA, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Mr. Stamer graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Long Beach, and from the University of Wollongong in New South Wales, Australia, where he focused on business management. He currently resides in Mission Viejo, CA.
