OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Alameda Health System (AHS) has announced that a total of 263 employees were honored for their dedicated service at the Annual Employee Awards Banquet, which took place on September 5, 2014. The recognized employees have given a remarkable 7,859 years of collective service to AHS.

Each honoree was presented with a certificate and a distinctive "star" pin denoting their length of service, which ranged from 20 to more than 40 years. Among those honored were Donna Gonzales and Beverly Jew, each with 40 years of service to AHS.
