Lubrizol Experts to Present at CTI Symposium, September 19, 2014

SHANGHAI, September 16, 2014 - The Lubrizol Corporation will give two presentations focused on innovations in driveline additive technology at this week's CTI Symposium in Suzhou, China on September 19, 2014.

Dr. Gareth Brown's presentation, "Manual Transmission Fluids for Improved Efficiency - viscosity reduction and beyond," will review the performance parameters required for a modern transmission. Dedicated manual transmission fluids provide the ideal balance between vehicle efficiency and component protection. This presentation will also discuss recent improvements in transmission efficiency and what the future might be - beyond changes in transmission fluid viscosity.

Michael Gahagan's presentation, "Wet DCT fluid technology optimization and development in an engine-fired dual clutch transmission test," will discuss dual clutch transmission (DCT) fluids. DCTs continue to gain popularity in China and Europe, as they combine the efficiency of a manual transmission with the driver-friendliness of an automatic transmission. This presentation will review requirements of a DCT fluid as well as new developments in testing.

Lubrizol will participate in the annual meeting exhibition at booth #14 and experts will be on hand to provide more information on the range of driveline additive technology solutions offered. To learn more about either of these technical presentations, contact Kate Yuan at Kate.Yuan@lubrizol.com
