COLUMBUS, OH--(Marketwired - Sep 16, 2014) - Assurex Global, an exclusive Partnership of the most prominent independent agents and brokers in the world, marked its 60^th anniversary last week as the start of a year-long celebration of this milestone which began at their Global Conference, September 9 - 11, 2014, in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.) served as one of two keynote speakers and addressed the Partnership during a one-hour session on "Leadership: Taking Charge." The second keynote presentation was delivered by renowned international speaker and consultant David Mead, whose discussion focused on "Start With Why."

Partners used their time together during the conference to not only learn from industry speakers, but to network and deepen the relationships they share to foster best practices and collaboration for business development.
