Costa Mesa, Calif., Sept. 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MotoAmerica, the new North American road racing series launched by Wayne Rainey and the KRAVE Group LLC, has received another important pledge of support: from the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the global governing and sanctioning body for international motorcycle racing.
Vito Ippolito, president of FIM, gave his support for the new MotoAmerica road racing series by saying, "We are very excited about the potential of the new MotoAmerica road racing series. American motorcycle racing has always been important to the FIM, and we are proud to be a part of the MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Motorcycle Road Racing Championship."
