Argos Selects Paragon HDS to Boost Its Home Delivery Operations

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwired - Nov 18, 2014) -  Paragon Software Systems, Inc., a leader in vehicle routing and scheduling optimization solutions, announces that Argos, the UK's largest high street online retailer, has selected Paragon's advanced home delivery software solution as part of a large-scale project to revolutionize its home delivery operation. Paragon's HDS software enables operators, such as Argos, to offer optimized time windows to customers at the point of order.

Argos serves around 120 million customers a year through its network of 734 stores. In the last financial year, Argos handled more than 738 million website and app visits. As part of a company-wide project to offer "More Choice Available Faster (MCAF)" the merchandise retailer giant wanted a vehicle routing and scheduling solution that linked seamlessly with its existing multi-channel order processing systems to offer customers cost effective home delivery or customer collection time slots at the time of order.
