The Mexico Fund, Inc. Announces Composition of 2014 Distributions


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Jan 6, 2015) - The Mexico Fund, Inc. (NYSE: MXF) announced today that the four distributions corresponding to the fiscal year 2014, which together totaled $2.8776 per share, were comprised of $0.0419 net investment income, $0.1508 short-term capital gains and $2.6849 long-term capital gains, as shown in the following table. The Fund will send stockholders a Form 1099-DIV for the 2014 calendar year informing them of how to report these distributions for federal income tax purposes.
