HARTFORD, Conn., Jan. 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Connecticut Children's Medical Center is pleased to announce the recent appointment of two new physicians to its Divisions of Nephrology and Pain & Palliative Medicine.
Samriti Dogra, MD, joined the Division of Nephrology. She comes to Connecticut Children's from Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Children's Hospital at Montefiore, where she completed her pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric nephrology. Dr. Dogra earned her Bachelor of Arts with Honors at Cornell University College of Arts & Sciences and received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology.
Kalyani Raghavan, MBBS, MD, DCH joined the Division of Pain & Palliative Medicine. She comes to Connecticut Children's from Children's Hospital of Michigan, where she completed a pediatric residency and served as Medical Director of Sedation Service for the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Prior to this, Dr. Raghavan studied in India where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Diploma of Child Health and doctorate in Pediatrics from Maharaja Sayajirao University & Government Medical College, Vadodara. Her special areas of interest include integrative medicine with a focus on Yoga therapy.
