BARCELONA, Spain, February 17, 2015 - Lubrizol Engineered Polymers has reached an agreement with VELOX, a well-established distributor of raw material specialities for the plastics, composites, rubber, paints and coatings industries across Europe, to expand the distribution for Pearlthane(TM) and Pearlcoat(TM) TPU technologies in Spain, effective January 2015.
In June 2014 VELOX extended its distribution partnership, now including Lubrizol Advanced Materials M.S. S.L. products. With its sales operations in 18 countries VELOX offers Lubrizol's speciality thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) brands Pearlthane(TM), Pearlcoat(TM), Pearlbond(TM), and Pearlstick(TM) for adhesives, injection moulding, extrusion and compounding applications in most countries of Europe. With this amendment, VELOX now offers Pearlthane(TM) and Pearlcoat(TM) in Spain.

VELOX and Lubrizol have been successfully cooperating for the last 12 years, VELOX being the distributor for Lubrizol's brands Estane® (elastomeric thermoplastic polyurethanes), Estaloc(TM) (reinforced engineering TPUs) and Isoplast® ETP (engineered thermoplastics), a high flexural modulus thermoplastic.
Lubrizol Engineered Polymers' speciality TPUs can be bio-based*, recyclable**, light stable and optical clear (aliphatic) and fast-cycling. High-performance polycaprolactone copolyester- or copolymer-based specialties are available for the industrial, automotive, electronics and sports and recreation markets.
