Falls Church, VA, April 21, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced today that Three Wire Systems, LLC was awarded one of its Chief Information Officer - Commodities and Solutions (CIO-CS) government-wide acquisition contracts. CIO-CS supports the full range of IT needs across the federal government with a particular emphasis on agencies that are involved in healthcare and clinical and biological research--such as NIH and the Department of Health and Human Services.
CIO-CS will offer on-premises and cloud-based IT commodities and is part of the e-GOS online acquisition management system. The intent of the contract is to provide IT commodities and solutions to meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial, and information management requirements. CIO-CS contracts have been awarded for a period of 10 years with a five-year base and a five-year option period.
"Three Wire is thrilled to have been selected by NIH for this contract award," states Three Wire President Greg Feldman. "We already offer both cloud-based and on premises IT products and services, and we look forward to streamlining the procurement process through CIO-CS."
All awards are indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts worth up to $20 billion. For more information about procurement under CIO-CS, visit https://nitaac.nih.gov/nitaac/contracts/cio-cs.
