Leading Forensic Technology and Investigations Expert Margaret "Peggy" Daley Joins BRG

EMERYVILLE, CA--(Marketwired - April 23, 2015) - Berkeley Research Group today announced that Peggy Daley has joined the firm's Global Investigations and Strategic Intelligence practice as a Chicago-based managing director. She brings more than 25 years of experience in investigations, data analytics, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance for multinational corporations in a variety of industries.

Daley has conducted fraud, money laundering and trade theft investigations on behalf of boards of directors and outside counsel, typically under circumstances requiring disclosure to relevant regulatory and law enforcement authorities. She also advises clients in designing and implementing compliance programs and procedures.

Daley led the forensic technology team that supported Anthony Valukas, the examiner in the Lehman Brothers' bankruptcy. She also led the investigation into alleged false reporting of LSAT and GPA data by the University of Illinois School of Law. She now serves as a consultant to the American Bar Association on matters involving graduate employment reporting. She also testified as a fraud expert in a $100 million accounting malpractice action.

In 2012, her team was named by the National Law Journal as "Best of Chicago" for Global Risk and Investigations. In 2014 and 2015, she was named by Who's Who Legal as a Forensic Investigation expert.
