Stroock Expands National Real Estate Practice With Loryn Dunn Arkow

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 27, 2015) - Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, a national law firm with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Washington, DC, is pleased to announce that Loryn Dunn Arkow has joined the firm's Los Angeles office as a partner in the national Real Estate Practice Group. Ms. Arkow, who has been in the real estate industry for 19 years, was previously a partner in the Los Angeles office of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP.

Ms. Arkow's practice involves acquisition, disposition and development transactions, joint ventures, lending and other finance transactions, as well as recapitalizations and workouts. She has represented large public pension funds, pension fund advisors, private equity funds and other investors, lenders, developers and sponsors in a variety of sectors, including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, condo development, homebuilding, medical and mixed-use projects.

Ms. Arkow is a graduate of Stanford Law School and has a masters in International Economics and Japan Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She received her undergraduate BA from Harvard University, magna cum laude. Ms. Arkow speaks Spanish and Japanese.
