LIVERMORE, CA--(Marketwired - May 13, 2015) - UNCLE Credit Union, serving the communities of Livermore, Pleasanton, and Tracy, today announced the creation of two new executive roles in a move that will strengthen corporate performance and streamline decision-making in response to the changing needs of the market it serves. Dree Johnson has been promoted to Vice President, Member Services, and Sarah Samuel has been named Vice President, Sales and Marketing. With more than 35 years of combined experience in financial services, both have been instrumental in the achievement of key goals at UNCLE Credit Union.

As Vice President, Member Services, Dree Johnson will continue to head the Credit Union's Retail Financial Centers as well as the Contact Center, driving new revenue streams through successful sales initiatives and ongoing team building and mentoring. In her new role, Johnson will also oversee UNCLE's Investment Services program in partnership with CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS) and will join UNCLE's Managing and Asset-Liability Committees.
Johnson has been UNCLE's Director of Retail Banking for 4 1/2 years. Prior to that, she held various managerial roles at UNCLE. Johnson plays a pivotal role in leading organizational change within the Credit Union, and she has been an active contributor to the financial services industry, having served as President/Board Chairman of California Credit Union League, East Bay Chapter from 2012-2013.
In her new position, Sarah Samuel will continue to lead Business Development and Mortgage Origination Sales -- adding UNCLE's Marketing Division to the areas reporting to her. Since she joined UNCLE as Vice President, Sales and Services in 2013, Samuel has been a critical part of the leadership team that has enabled the organization to surpass fundamental objectives pertaining to the Credit Union's growth. She has also been influential in implementing important initiatives to provide added value for UNCLE's membership.
Before joining UNCLE, Samuel was Vice President, Senior Relationship Management, for Technology Credit Union from 2011 to 2013, and prior to this she served as their Vice President, Business Banking. As UNCLE Credit Union's Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Samuel will remain a member of the Credit Union's Managing and Asset-Liability Committees.
