About Mondo's Tracks
The world's top track for more than 30 years, Mondo's Super X Performance track is recognized as one of the fastest, most durable and environmentally safest tracks available. Perfect for both training and high-performance competition, the track is known for its shock absorption and optimal energy return, and its ideal blend of speed and comfort minimizes the occurrence of injuries.
Designed for superior athletic performance, Mondotrack provides optimal traction and a greater contact area than other tracks and converts the maximum amount of force generated by athletes' foot strikes to energy for the most energy return, which helps athletes achieve faster times compared to running on other surfaces.
Mondo's Super X 720 track surface combines the backing of Mondotrack and the wear layer of the company's Super X Performance track which are vulcanized together to form one continuous, seamless piece of material that delivers exceptional traction, durability, drainage and safety. The backing provides exceptional shock absorbency and energy return, which further helps the performance layer increase athletes' comfort and enables them to achieve faster times than when running on other surfaces.
Mondo has served as the competition surface of the Olympics Games since 1992, and more than 250 world records have been set on tracks made by Mondo.
