MapR SVP Anil Gadre to Keynote at Spark Summit

Additionally, Chief Application Architect Ted Dunning and Director of Product Management Neeraja Rentachintala will present at the conference, which will be held in San Francisco, June 15 - 17, 2015.

What: Gadre will keynote a presentation titled: "Spark & Hadoop at Production Scale," where he will highlight how leading companies are deploying Spark with Hadoop in production. He will share real-life customer examples of turning data into action using Spark and Hadoop and how advanced users are deploying Hadoop and Spark applications in one cluster with better reliability and performance at production scale.

What: Dunning will present a session titled: "Some Important Streaming Algorithms You Should Know About," where he will discuss streaming algorithms and real time processing. He will discuss newer algorithms including t-digest and streaming k-means for truly real-time collaborative filtering.

Where: The Hilton Union Square, San Francisco, CA Room # 1
What: Rentachintala will present a session titled: "Adding Complex Data to Spark Stack." She will highlight the latest integration between Apache Drill and Spark technologies, which allows Spark users to leverage Drill's flexible schema and dynamic schema discovery capabilities to query and work with complex data directly using familiar Spark programming paradigms.
