Prevtec Microbia Delivers the First Million Doses of its Coliprotec(R) F4 Vaccine

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 8, 2015) - Prevtec Microbia ("Prevtec") is delighted to announce that a mere three months after its vaccine received approval in Europe, it has delivered the first million doses to its distributor. A second delivery of two million doses is scheduled for July, and a third will be made in the fourth quarter of 2015. The product is distributed through an exclusive agreement with Elanco, a world leader in animal health.

The official launch for Coliprotec®F4 will take place in Prague on June 18 and 19, in front of an invited group of European Union veterinarians," said Michel Fortin, President and Chief Executive Officer of Prevtec Microbia.

A live bacterial vaccine for oral dosing in pigs, Coliprotec®F4 has been approved for use in Canada, Brazil, Russia and now the European Union. The Company expects to obtain approval of the product in the United States in 2016.

Prevtec Microbia's President and Chief Executive Officer will make two presentations at the VetHealth Global (VHG) conference being held in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island from June 8 to 10, 2015. Some 200 participants from five continents are expected to attend VHG 2015 to explore market trends, global regulatory, economic and geopolitical issues, and innovative developments related to companion and food animal health and nutrition.
