MacAulay Brown Strengthens Leadership Team


DAYTON, OH, June 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Special Operations Forces, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that it has strengthened its management team by hiring two industry leaders and promoting another to meet new organizational objectives for its National Security Group (NSG).

Dan Gutierrez, currently Vice President of Mid Atlantic Operations for MacB, has been promoted to Vice President of Operations for NSG. In this newly created position, he is responsible for leading business and program growth and execution, including the implementation of organizational policies, plans, group objectives and various growth initiatives. Gutierrez has more than 10 years of experience in the industry and before joining MacB, he led the Cyberspace and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Support Department at Northrop Grumman - TASC, Inc. Prior to his civilian career, Gutierrez served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Signals Intelligence Analyst, focusing on intelligence planning, analysis and support.

Napoleon Stewart joined MacB on June 1, 2015 as Director of Military Intelligence Programs under the National Security Programs Division (NSPD). Stewart is now responsible for the management, execution and technical direction of multiple lines of business, with a focus on Military Intelligence, C4ISR and U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) activities. He served in the U.S. Army for more than 25 years, and brings extensive knowledge and experience in leading, planning and directing multi-discipline Army Intelligence operations. Stewart retired with the rank of Colonel and his last military role was Deputy Commander of INSCOM, an organization comprised of 17,000 soldiers and civilians providing Intelligence to Army Commanders. He joins MacB after previously working as an Executive Vice President at Global Intelligence, Inc. Stewart earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University, and two master's degrees from the National Intelligence University and the U.S. Army War College, respectively.

Donald (Don) Chaney is now Director of Intelligence Community Programs under the National Security Programs Division (NSPD) at MacB, effective June 8, 2015. In this leadership role, Chaney is responsible for the management and execution of multiple lines of business, focusing specifically on the Intelligence Community (IC) and cyber activities within targeted business areas. While at Northrop Grumman, L-3 Communications and Booz Allen Hamilton, Chaney led large and complex lines of business that focused primarily on the IC. He completed a bachelor's degree at the University of Maryland in Information Systems, and graduated with distinction from the National Security Agency (NSA) in the Junior Officer Career Cryptologic Program. Chaney also attended the Chicago School of Business. Before his industry career, Chaney served in the U.S. Navy for more than 20 years, specializing in information warfare and cyber planning and execution. He retired with the rank of Commander from the Naval Security Group in 1998.
