WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwired - June 16, 2015) - Profitect Inc., the leading prescriptive analytics provider for the retail industry, announced they will host a roundtable discussion on how to "Unlock Hidden Profits using Data Analytics" at NRF Protect 2015. The discussion, which is on Wednesday, June 24th at 4pm in room 104B, will be led by Neeti Vetter, Senior LP Analyst of DSW, Inc. and Guy Yehiav, CEO of Profitect. The presentation will address how communication and collaboration with all retail organizations, from merchants to store operators to financial strategies, etc., will help solve the biggest problem facing every retailer -- how to communicate insights among the different departments, and act on them. In addition to its numerous thought leadership sessions and networking opportunities, NRF Protect continues to be a great event for Profitect to connect with its large and growing customer base.
Attendees of the roundtable session will come away with a better understanding of the key concepts, terms, and methodologies used in retail data analysis. They will learn critical strategies for analyzing and sharing retail data with key decision makers. Along with becoming more aware of the common pitfalls that can keep retailers from getting the most out of the different data.
Profitect will have ongoing demonstrations of its prescriptive analytics software at booth #1055, where company executives will discuss how retailers can employ pattern-seeking, cloud-based prescriptive analytics to not only protect, but to bring added value to a retailer's top & bottom lines. Profitect's approach to integrating data quickly with minimal IT resources, while producing actionable opportunities, will enable asset protection to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their teams in identifying the behaviors that are impacting total shrink and enable AP leaders to collaborate with, and add value to, other organizations in the enterprise.
"One of the major problems facing retailers today is that they have large quantities of data. Using Exception Based Reporting (EBR) to analyze and communicate it often creates more questions than answers," said Guy Yehiav, CEO, Profitect. "Profitect's prescriptive analytics tools delivers actionable insights, rather than more questions, allowing retailers to identify opportunities locked away in all of the various kinds of data they have. More importantly, prescriptive analytics allows retailers to resolve these issues and continuously measure their success."
