Zaandam, the Netherlands, June 22, 2015 - Ahold has repurchased 435,146 Ahold common shares in the period from June 15, 2015 up to and including June 19, 2015. The shares were repurchased at an average price of €17.9239 per share for a total consideration of €7.80 million. These repurchases were made as part of the €500 million share buyback program announced on February 26, 2015.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 8,595,407 common shares for a total consideration of €157.40 million.
