Mustafa Hadi Joins as Leader of BRG's Hong Kong Office

EMERYVILLE, CA--(Marketwired - July 14, 2015) - Leading strategic advisory and expert consulting firm Berkeley Research Group announced today that Mustafa Hadi has joined the firm to lead its International Arbitration practice in Hong Kong. With this addition, BRG launches its first office in Asia, specialising in providing financial and economic expert services in international arbitration and litigation.

Hadi specialises in the valuation of businesses, shares and intangible assets, and in the quantification of complex damages, such as those arising from contractual, shareholder, joint venture, post-acquisition and intellectual property disputes. He has been instructed as an expert witness in international arbitrations under ICC and UNCITRAL rules, and in the courts of Hong Kong and the Bahamas, and has given oral testimony before both court and arbitral tribunals. His experience also includes arbitrations at the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and Dubai International Arbitration Centre; and matters in various courts and tribunals in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and Bermuda.

Hadi holds an M.A. in physics from Cambridge University, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a member of the Academy of Experts. He regularly presents to law firms and industry bodies on damages and valuation issues. He has also acted as an expert witness at workshops organised by the Foundation for International Arbitration Advocacy and has lectured to LLM students at the University of Hong Kong.
