Second quarter summery · Axfood’s consolidated sales for the period April–June totalled SEK 10,478 m (9,804), an increase of 6.9%. · Retail sales for Group-owned stores increased by 6.3% during the period. Like -for-like sales increased by 3.9% during the period. · Operating profit for the period was SEK 431 m (376). · Profit after financial items was SEK 429 m (370) for the period. · Profit after tax totalled SEK 334 m (289) for the period, and earnings per share were SEK 1.59 (1.36). · A 4:1 stock split was carried out during the second quarter. · Axfood Närlivs signed renewed supply agreements with Reitan Convenience and EMAB. · Axfood’s goal for 2015 is to exceed the level of profit achieved in 2014.
