STATS ChipPAC Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

SINGAPORE--05 AUGUST 2015, UNITED STATES--(Marketwired - Aug 5, 2015) -  STATS ChipPAC Ltd. ("STATS ChipPAC" or the "Company") (SGX-ST: STATSChP) (SGX: S24), a leading provider of advanced semiconductor packaging and test services, announced today the appointment of Kwek Kiong Woo ("KK Woo") as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Company.

KK Woo will report directly to STATS ChipPAC's Co-Presidents and Co-Chief Executive Officers, and will have overall responsibility for all accounting, financial management, internal controls and investor relations matters of the Company.

KK Woo was from Advanpack Solutions, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Changjiang Electronics Technology ("JCET"), where he was the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to that, he was the Chief Financial Officer of ASTI Holdings, a leading provider of semiconductor manufacturing services, listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, and had also held senior financial positions at various companies. KK Woo was also an audit supervisor with KPMG.

KK Woo graduated with an accountancy degree from the National University of Singapore in 1992.
