ST. LOUIS, Aug. 12, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- tED magazine, the official publication of the NAED, has honored 50 of the electrical industry's finest marketing programs in its 2015 Best of the Best Marketing Awards Competition.
The nominations were judged by Hank Bergson, former president of NEMRA; Jan Niehaus, president, Communications by Design; Katrina Olson, who taught public relations, advertising, and writing for 10 years at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; and Shad Thomas, president of Glass Box Research.
The awards were presented at a special ceremony during NAED's 2015 AdVenture Marketing Conference on Monday, August 10.
For more than four decades, tED magazine has recognized the electrical industry's top marketing initiatives with its Best of the Best Competition. This year's awards honored electrical distributors and suppliers for stellar campaigns launched in 2014.
Every year, the publication selects one distributor and one supplier to represent the overall best marketing practices for the industry. This year's "Best Overall" winners were:
• Womack Electric Supply –this distributor earned individual Best of the Best awards in the Brand Awareness, Creative Display, Integrated Promotional Campaign, Public Relations—Community Outreach, and Publication categories.
• Legrand –this supplier earned individual Best of the Best awards in three categories: Integrated Promotional Campaign, Literature/Selling Tool, and Print Ad—Single.
