Mantra to Exhibit at National Clean Energy Summit 8.0

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 13, 2015) - Mantra Energy Alternatives Ltd., a subsidiary of Mantra Venture Group Ltd. (OTCQB:MVTG), has announced that it will be exhibiting at the National Clean Energy Summit 8.0 in Las Vegas on August 24^th. The company will also be presenting at the Electrochemical Energy Science and Technology (EEST) 2015, which runs from August 16^th to the 22^nd.

"This is the ideal excellent platform for Mantra to exhibit on, as the room will be full of key industrial and government players - including President Obama as the keynote speaker," said Larry Kristof, Mantra's CEO.

The National Clean Energy Summit "has been the national stage for clean energy development discussions for eight years and serves as the country's most visible and influential gathering of leaders and top policy makers". This year's summit will focus on the benefits of public-private partnerships to deploy clean energy. Mantra will be promoting the company's technologies at a booth on the exhibition floor at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre.

"The emissions cuts legislated through the Obama Administration's recently announced Clean Power Plan will require the deployment of carbon utilization and energy storage systems, both areas directly addressed by Mantra's technologies," continued Mr. Kristof.

The Environmental Protection Agency's Clean Power Plan, announced on August 3^rd, requires that states reduce carbon emissions to 32% below 2005 levels by 2030. Mantra's management anticipates that this announcement will spur already widespread interest in the company's technologies, especially on a platform such as the Clean Energy Summit.

Mantra will also be presenting at EEST 2015. The conference is the second conference organized by the International Academy of Electrochemical Energy Science, and consists of plenary talks, invited keynote speeches and poster presentations focusing on electrochemical energy research, development and applications. Dr. Kazemi will be giving two presentations on Tuesday, August 18, on Mantra's technologies. The first will cover renewable energy storage through CO₂ conversion, and the second the production of chemicals and fuels from CO₂.
