BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Aug. 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Altec is excited to announce that our Massachusetts Service Center has moved to a new location. The new service center, located at 10 Fortune Drive, provides a complete range of repair and maintenance work as well as Altec's fully comprehensive preventative maintenance inspections.
Spanning 23,800 square feet, the new and improved facility consists of two single story pre-manufactured buildings on 14.1 acres of previously undeveloped land.
It consists of 16 truck service bays in a drive-through design. Each bay is 22 feet wide by 50 feet deep for a total shop floor of 17,600 square feet.
Four bridge cranes were installed on two rails, each with twin 7.5 ton trolleys, allowing a 15-ton picking capacity at any point in the shop.
