ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - Sep 10, 2015) - At a "preview day" event held earlier today, Arcade Apartments made several important announcements with updates and details regarding its leasing and impending opening of the newly renovated Arcade building in downtown St. Louis. With construction on schedule, the expected move-in dates for residents are set to begin in early December through January (with actual move-in dates varying by resident).
Kicking off today's event, Jeff Huggett, a representative for the developer of Arcade Apartments, announced that leasing is now open to the general public at Arcade Apartments for both artist and market rate suites. Artists wishing to live at the Arcade and who meet certain income and other requirements have the opportunity to lease an apartment suite at an unmatched value. The landmark property also includes 80 market rate luxury apartments that are now also available to lease.
"We are excited about the progress on this magnificent building to date," said Jeff Huggett. "We are also pleased with the interest from potential residents so far."
During the two weeks immediately preceding today's preview day, more than 25 percent of the suites were already reserved by those who had previously demonstrated an interest in Arcade Apartments by signing up to become an "Arcade Insider."
Those interested in learning more and leasing can visit www.arcade-apts.com or www.arcadeartistapts.com and check out individual apartments, floor plans and pricing. Arcade Apartments features more than 50 unique floor plans. Monthly lease amounts range on the low-end from $563.00 for working artist apartments to nearly $3,000.00 per month for two-level, upper-end suites.
The renovation of the historic Arcade Building is the largest apartment renovation to be undertaken in St. Louis in decades. Designed to meet the needs of artists and others with an appreciation for the arts, residents will have access to more than 11,000 square feet of shared artist studio spaces, a 19th floor rooftop terrace and clubroom, and a wide range of other community amenities.
