Swiss Telecom Operator Salt Provides FuelRod(TM) Mobile Phone Chargers to Customers

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 15, 2015) - Tricopian, a San Diego, California-based maker of the innovative FuelRod mobile device charger, today announced an agreement with Swiss mobile provider Salt, to supply FuelRod mobile phone and tablet chargers to its Swiss customers. FuelRods, branded under the Salt name, are available to customers at 85 Salt stores throughout Switzerland. The rechargeable FuelRods are small portable chargers that provide up to eight hours of talk time for an Apple or Android smartphone or nearly four hours of usage for a tablet. When power is depleted, the FuelRods can be exchanged free of charge at FuelRod SwapBox self-serve kiosks for a fresh, fully fueled, ready-to-use charger. Salt has already deployed 20 FuelRod SwapBox kiosks in its flagship stores and will soon equip 43 additional stores.

Each FuelRod is equipped with a starter kit, including connectors for Android and Apple-based devices. FuelRod by Salt is available for sale on Salt's web site as well as in its Swiss retail outlets. Once used, the FuelRod can be recharged using a standard USB cord in any electrical outlet or exchanged at FuelRod SwapBox self-serve kiosks located throughout Switzerland as well as in the Salt stores -- at no additional cost. FuelRod SwapBox's are also located in the Geneva Airport, Palexpo convention center and Basel EuroAirport.
