PHILADELPHIA, PA., Sept. 17, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Independence Blue Cross (Independence) wants to help participants live fearless through one of four unforgettable, Philadelphia-centric experiences. Round two of the "Fearless Is" sweepstakes will offer participants a chance to win one-of-a-kind prizes from the Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia magazine's Be Well Philly, Garces Group, and the Philadelphia Union. To enter the sweepstakes, entrants should visit the Independence Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ibx. From there, they can select which experience they would most like to win, and complete the entry form.
The "Fearless Is" sweepstakes builds on Independence's popular Live Fearless ad campaign, which showcases members who are able to live fearless, strong, and confident each day as they carry an insurance card accepted by more than 90 percent of doctors and hospitals nationwide. To encourage residents in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware to share this same spirit, the sweepstakes offers entrants the opportunity to create an extraordinary Philadelphia memory.
Four exclusive prizes
• Challenge a Philadelphia 76er to HORSE. One winner and a guest will play a Sixer one-on-one, talk game strategy with the coach during warm ups, and enjoy opening night like never before — courtside while dressed in complimentary 76ers game jerseys.
• Turn over a new leaf for the fall. One winner will get a head-to-toe makeover compliments of Philadelphia magazine's Be Well Philly. The package includes time with a personal trainer, a nutritionist, a professional stylist, and a fashion expert, as well as $500 to spend towards a new wardrobe. The winner's experience will be included in an upcoming issue of Philadelphia magazine. In addition, the winner will be invited with a guest to attend the Health Hero Challenge award celebration, as well as Boot Camp Underground events.
• Get your kids to try new foods. With the goal of introducing children to new foods, one winner and their family (up to six people) will enjoy an adventurous night of eating at Garces Group favorites Olde Bar and Amada. After dining, the family will meet the Chef de Cuisine of each restaurant, and have the chance to prep healthy and daring dishes in the kitchen at each location.
• Kick it with the Union. One winner and three friends will feel like a part of the Philadelphia Union team as they attend team practice, participate in workout drills, practice shooting on the goalie, get tips from team members, and receive strength and conditioning advice from team trainer Kevin Miller. Then the winner and guests will attend a Union home game at PPL Park to experience the excitement from club seats.
No purchase is necessary and entrants do not need to be Independence members to win. The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware who are 18 years or older. It began 12:00 a.m. ET on September 2, 2015 and ends 11:59 p.m. ET on October 7, 2015. Subject to Official Rules. Void outside of states listed above and where prohibited.
