PITTSBURGH, Oct. 07, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Attendees to American Middle East Institute’s annual business conference in Pittsburgh will hear from CNN’s Fareed Zakaria during its closing session. The non-profit announced the host of the network’s flagship affairs program will deliver keynote remarks entitled, “Arc of Crisis: Reality and Hope in the Middle East,” before an expected audience of some 1,500 on the evening of October 20 at Carnegie Musical Hall in Pittsburgh.
AMEI president, Simin Curtis, said the award-winning foreign policy commentator offers “a voice that understands the real challenges confronting the Middle East, but also a sophisticated understanding that this region of the world will not remain in crisis forever.” She continued, “The Middle East is home to some of the sturdiest and most resilient people in world history. Fareed knows that business and opportunity marches on – that’s the positive message about the region. We’ve invited Dr. Zakaria because he expresses this truth like few others.”
