Matt Johnson has been a senior engineering executive for 15 years, with almost five of those years recently leading the File Services teams at NetApp. His experience managing large teams and developing quality products is a natural fit for his new role as Vice President of Engineering at Hedvig where he'll run product strategy and vision alongside CEO Avinash Lakshman. In addition, Johnson will focus on building on the engineering team's collaborative culture and recruiting new talent at Hedvig as the company scales.
Phil Williams is uniquely qualified to further develop the partnership strategy for Hedvig, having 13 years of experience in building server, ISV and channel partnerships. Williams has helped traditional storage companies like Dell, NetApp and Kaminario, as well as software-focused companies such as DataCore, form strategic alliances to further their business development interests. As Vice President of Business Development & Channels at Hedvig, Williams will run global strategy for technology, reseller and distribution alliances.
Darrell Billings has 14 years of experience bringing support to IT and storage organizations. He helped build the support team at Data Domain before transitioning into a leadership role at EMC after the company was acquired. Having been in the support function at both traditional storage and software-defined storage organizations, Billings is well-equipped as Senior Director of Global Support to ensure Hedvig's people, processes, and technology deliver the best possible experience for customers.
