CHARLESTON, SC--(Marketwired - October 22, 2015) - SIB Fixed Cost Reduction, a company specializing in reducing recurring monthly expenses for multiple-location companies, announced today that it has launched a new project with Blood Centers of America (BCA) to provide cost reduction services to the cooperative's member facilities.
"We look forward to collaborating with SIB to review our members' operating expenses and to find responsible, effective ways to lower those costs," said Sam Keith, Vice President of Supply Chain Management and National Accounts for BCA. "Our members are not-for-profit organizations, so these cost savings will directly benefit their mission of providing vital medical services and supplies to hospitals, clinics, and life-saving research organizations."
Under the new arrangement, SIB will work with BCA to offer a wide range of services to participating members' clinic facilities throughout North America. SIB will identify cost savings by negotiating better contracts for recurring monthly service expenses (such as phone, internet, bank fees, utilities, maintenance contracts, and others), and by finding and correcting errors and overcharges on past bills. BCA members will only pay SIB a percentage of the final, realized savings.
"We're proud to be working with BCA," said Dan Schneider, CEO of SIB. "We have used our expertise to lower costs for a variety of hospitals, senior living facilities, and other health care centers in the past, and we look forward to applying this knowledge for the benefit of BCA and their members."
