NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - October 27, 2015) - B&H Photo Video welcomes the announcement from Lensbaby about the release of the Composer Pro II with Edge 50 Optic, an upgrade and addition to Lensbaby’s successful Optic Swap System. The Composer Pro II has been released in a wide range of mounts for DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, including Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony A, Pentax K, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, Sony E, and Samsung NX. Its new features include a more durable metal body with charcoal gray accents, and an improved tilt control function from 0-15° in any direction. Also, it can be used with any optic in the system.

• Lens construction featuring 8 multi-coated glass elements in 6 groups.

The Edge 50 Optic bundled with the Composer Pro II is a wider version of the Edge 80 flat field optic. This lens provides a normal angle of view with full-frame sensors or a short/medium telephoto on APS-C and Micro Four Thirds bodies. The Edge series is designed to create a slice of focus when tilted, which can be controlled by adjusting the angle of tilt on the Composer, while the aperture can be set from f/3.2 to 22 to adjust the size. Additionally, this multi-coated optic has an internal 9-blade aperture diaphragm, and can accept 46mm filters.
