HENDERSON, Nev., Nov. 6, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On the heels of ballot initiative campaigns for legalization being launched in Nevada, California, Arizona, and Maine, more than 250 high net worth investors from around the world will gather in Las Vegas, NV at the ArcView Investor Forum. The ArcView Investor Network includes more than 500 accredited investor members who have put more than $55 million behind 85 cannabis-related companies.
Taking place at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort for a two day "Shark Tank"-like pitch forum on Monday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 10th, accredited investors will be reviewing pitches from more than 25 companies who competed fiercely for the pitch slots out of a field of hundreds of applicants. It will be the highest concentration of capital and key players to ever assemble for the industry. Among those pitching will be musician Melissa Etheridge who is now also a cannabis entrepreneur.
